| PAPYRUS PLANTS |
The papyrus plant grows in the Nile fresh water, It has long roots and stems, The ancient Egyptains used its stems in building ships and making Papyrus paper. |
| CUTTING AND SLICING THE PLANT |
The outer green skin will be taken out and slice the internal parts into strips,the slices hummered to squeeze the water and break the fibers,then the strips put in water for 3 days untill it become transparent and flexiable. |
| PUTTING STRIPS TOGETHER |
The strips cut to the required length and placed on piece of cotton overlapping the edges of each strip making two layers one horizontal and the other vertical. |
| PRESS THE LAYERS. |
The sheets ready to place between two cardbords and press the cardbords changes evry 8 hours till it completly dried, it takes about 3 days. |
| NOW READY TO USE. |
Now , its ready to be used for painting with all kinds of oil coulor, writting, typewriting and drawing. |
